In a recent memo from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, State Registrar of Vital Statistics Ronald S. Hyman announced that the "go live" date for Colorado's Electronic Death Registration system has pushed back until late Spring 2015.

The system, already in use in Georgia, is being modified, refined and thoroughly tested to ensure functionality for a diverse need of user agencies and businesses.

Hyman also noted that the hard copy record for death certificate data will be modified for deaths occurring on and after January 1, 2015.
