Registration Terms & Policies
All participants are subject to CFDA’s registration terms, cancellation and refund policies.
All participants and guests must register and pay a registration fee to attend Convention activities. Full payment is required to confirm registration.
Advance registration is necessary to ensure sufficient seating for sessions, printed materials, and catering orders. All registration fees and ticket prices will increase after June 30, 2017.
Registrations may not be split or shared between two or more individuals. Single day and single event registration options are available for your convenience.
All participants should be aware of and comply with CFDA's Recording & Photography terms stated on this page.
If it becomes necessary to cancel a Convention registration, please phone the CFDA Office at 303-791-2336. Substitutions are encouraged in lieu of cancellation.
Refund requests must be made in writing by fax to 303-395-2609; email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or mailed to the Colorado Funeral Directors Association, P. O. Box 631664, Highlands Ranch, CO 80163-1664.
Refund requests received by 5:00PM (Mountain) on Friday, July 7, will be refunded registration fee less $30 processing fee. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days after the Convention.
No refunds will be granted for tickets to Take Me Out to the Ballgame.
There are no refunds for no-shows or cancellations after July 7, 2017.
An exception may be considered in the event of a serious health issue or personal emergency of the registrant or an immediate member of his/her family. Please include details in your written refund request.
For your convenience, CFDA offers a variety of education sessions and registration options that are suited for all levels of your staff. Full and partial day options allow flexibility for staffing and scheduling. As always, CFDA and WyFDA Establishment Members and their employees benefit from the lowest available rates.
Full Convention registration includes admission beginning at 1PM on Friday, July 21 through 3:30 PM on Saturday, July 22. This option includes 3 general sessions, 2 breakout session periods, education materials, exhibits, Friday Welcome Reception, Saturday Buffet Lunch, and Sunday roundtable discussions. Discounted package pricing is available for Full Convention registrations with Pre-Convention Workshops. Tickets for Saturday night game at Coors Field are sold separately.
One-Day Registrations are available for Friday, July 21 or Saturday, July 22, including daily education sessions, materials, exhibits, and reception or lunch. Pre-Con Workshops sold separately
New this year! There are 2 different Pre-Convention Workshops offered prior to the start of the 2017 Combined Convention. Click here to learn more about these workshops.
Each workshop registration includes a half-day education session, materials and beverage break. Class sizes are limited; registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lunch is not included for Pre-Convention Workshops. A number of affordable restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel.
Spouses, partners and guests who accompany a Convention registrant may purchase a Limited Admission for access to exhibits and refreshments. All guests must check-in at the Registration Desk and wear a name tag.
If you don't have time to attend the Convention sessions CFDA offers a special 2-hour Limited Admission to visit the exhibits. This admission does not include education sessions, CE credit, or meals.

Fees and Membership
Registration fees are based on membership in the CFDA or WyFDA. Review the levels defined below to determine one that best applies to your situation.
Recording & Photography
The Colorado Funeral Directors Association (CFDA) reserves the right to use any photograph, audio or video recording taken at any event sponsored by CFDA, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/audio/video. CFDA may use the photograph/audio/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by CFDA including but not limited to: brochures, email bulletins, websites, social media, etc.
A person attending a CFDA event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, and/or the event organizers, and/or contact the CFDA Office, in writing of his/her intentions and include a photograph. CFDA will use the photo for identification purposes and will hold it in confidence.
By participating in a CFDA event or by failing to notify CFDA, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used by CFDA, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify CFDA from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
Any person or organization not affiliated with CFDA may not use, copy, alter or modify CFDA photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from CFDA.
The Colorado Funeral Service Board has approved a total of 17.2 contact hours for continuing education credit at the 2017 Combined Convention.
To earn credit, registrants must validate a CE form at the CE Station within 15‐minutes after the end of each education session. Only designated representatives from CFDA or CFSB are authorized to validate forms for CE credit.
